From August 24th to 26th, the 2026 National Summer Resort and Leisure Tourism Consumption Exchange and Promotion Activity was held in Lichuan City, Hubei Province. During the event, outstanding cases of national summer resort and leisure tourism in 2026 were released, with 45 cases selected.

The cases released this time vividly demonstrate the development advantages, innovative achievements and typical practices of summer resort tourism in various regions. They will provide reference for enriching summer resort tourism products, better meeting the diversified needs of tourists, and helping the national summer resort tourism industry to improve quality and upgrade and develop its brand.

The list shows that 15 cases were selected as outstanding cases in the category of creating summer resort and leisure tourism destinations, including: "Relying on its climate and ecological advantages, Lichuan City, Hubei Province, is building a year-round summer resort and health tourism destination", "Rushan Silver Beach: Drawing a blue coastline at 37° North latitude, realizing the transformation from a summer hot spot to a year-round travel destination", and "Hidden ancient villages in the dark, cool summer, and starry sky - Changhong Gaotiankeng: Exploring a new path for starry sky ancient villages to escape the summer heat, relax, and achieve common prosperity".

Fifteen cases, including "Cooling Down in the Sea of Clouds, Rejuvenating the Mountains: Innovative Practices of Summer Resort Products in Qinling Tianzhushan Ecological and Cultural Tourism Area," "Xining City's Chengbei District's 'Three Cultural Tourism Name Cards' Empower High-Quality Development of the Summer Resort and Leisure Hehuang Cultural Characteristic Tourism Area," and "Changbaishan Wanda International Resort's '22℃+N Ways to Play' Creates a New Landmark for Summer Resorts for All Ages," were selected as outstanding cases in the category of innovative summer resort products.

Fifteen cases, including "Enshi: A Unique Summer Resort and Leisure Tourism Route Featuring Mountains, Waters, Selenium, and Health," "Exploring the Charm of Tunbao and Enjoying the Countryside: A Unique Summer Resort and Leisure Tourism Route in Anshun," and "Talking about Yantai Amidst the Sound of Waves: A Unique Coastal Summer Resort and Leisure Route Product," were selected as outstanding examples in the category of unique summer resort and leisure tourism route design.
