On August 27, with the full-process supervision and service guarantee of the Beihai and Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administrations, the cruise ship "Beigangyou 11" set sail from Beihai Port and safely arrived at the Qinzhou Waterway Comprehensive Service Area of Pinglu Canal. This is the flagship ship of the Pinglu Canal's river-sea connecting passenger route.

On that day, the "Beigangyou 11" vessel set sail from Beihai, navigating the waters of Beihai and Qinzhou, as well as the Pinglu Canal, covering a total distance of 115.8 kilometers. In response to the challenges of the long voyage, the crossing of multiple waterways, and the complex navigation environment, the Guangxi Maritime Safety Administration coordinated with the Beihai and Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administrations to provide full-process tracking and relay support. During the voyage, maritime personnel accompanied the vessel throughout, with the "Haixun 1005" and "Haixun 1003" vessels providing segmented escort and vigilance to maintain navigation order along the route. Simultaneously, the Beibu Gulf Vessel Traffic Management Center conducted remote dynamic monitoring of the vessel's navigation, collecting real-time hydrological, meteorological, and sea condition information to provide accurate early warning and forecasting services.

The Pinglu Canal Qinzhou inland waterway passenger route completed its actual ship test on August 24. The cruise ship "Beigang You 11," participating in this voyage, has a certified passenger capacity of 299, a length of 45.97 meters, a width of 10 meters, a depth of 3.4 meters, and three decks, integrating sightseeing, dining, and other functions. It is expected that after the new route opens, it will connect the Pinglu Canal inland waterway scenery with the Beibu Gulf coastal landscape, creating a unique river-sea integrated waterway cultural tourism product in Guangxi.
