A press conference for a fleet of high-end cruise ships exceeding 10,000 tons and the naming ceremony for the cruise ship "Dream One" were held in Hong Kong on the 2nd.

At the event, Xu Zhengzhong, Chairman of the Bauhinia Culture Group, said that the newly named "Dream One" is the flagship of the fleet and will become a brand-new maritime landmark for Hong Kong. He hopes that tourists from all over the world will experience the new vitality and charm of Hong Kong.

Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, stated that "Dream One" is a domestically built high-end luxury cultural tourism vessel exclusively operated in Victoria Harbour. He hopes that by using the vessel as a medium and culture as its core, both Chinese and foreign tourists can appreciate the scenery of Victoria Harbour while experiencing the profound heritage of Chinese culture.

The "Dream One" cruise ship is 109 meters long, 26 meters wide, and 9.8 meters deep, with a full-load draft of 5.8 meters. Its gross tonnage is approximately 18,580 tons, and its net tonnage is approximately 9,290 tons. The ship features a professional international conference hall that can accommodate over 990 people, as well as a large banquet hall that can seat 800 people. It also includes multi-level 360-degree panoramic observation decks and a sea-view cultural and creative experience corridor. As the project's inaugural flagship, "Dream One" is deeply aligned with Hong Kong's first five-year plan, conforming to the SAR government's deployment to optimize the coastal space layout and establish a new pattern for high-end cruise ship operations in Hong Kong's near-shore waters.

The "Dream One" was designed and planned by the Wuhan Yangtze River Ship Design Institute, a subsidiary of China Merchants Group, and meticulously constructed by China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., with its research and development and construction progressing under the standards and verification of the China Classification Society.
