On the auspicious occasion of Qixi Festival, the charm of the karst peaks and forests was celebrated. On the evening of August 19th, the "Qixi Rendezvous, Karst Charm Shared" intangible cultural heritage exchange and experience activity for Chinese and foreign tourists was romantically held at Xiangxi Mansion in Wulingyuan District. This event, using the Qixi Festival as a link, promoted traditional Chinese culture and vividly showcased the charm of Xiangxi through diverse forms such as immersive intangible cultural heritage experiences, bilingual cultural exchanges, and folk custom interactions, thus enhancing Wulingyuan's international cultural tourism brand.

As night fell, tourists from home and abroad arrived one after another, choosing and wearing traditional Tujia costumes free of charge. The simple yet exquisite ethnic patterns complemented the ancient architecture of Xiangxi Prefecture. Everyone wrote festive wishes in both Chinese and English, hung the blessing plaques carrying their hopes on a special blessing wall, and strolled through the park with professional bilingual guides, stopping to take photos and immersing themselves in the unique folk customs and ancient charm of Xiangxi.

The intangible cultural heritage co-creation session was filled with warmth, with several inheritors providing hands-on instruction. Chinese and foreign tourists joined hands to participate in projects such as folding fan hand-painting, traditional calligraphy and painting, and creative finger painting, blending culture and forging friendships through craftsmanship. They bridged the gap between hearts through ink and color, experiencing the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage techniques. In addition to the romantic atmosphere, lively water splashing, parent-child tug-of-war, and fish-catching activities were held in turn, filling the air with laughter and joy.

"It's beautiful here, the scenery is gorgeous, and the culture is captivating. I will recommend it to all my friends when I get back," exclaimed Jordi, a French tourist who participated in the event.

This event, using festivals as a medium, culture as a means of gathering strength, and art as a means of connecting hearts, attracted more than 200 Chinese and foreign tourists to participate, further inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and injecting fresh vitality into the high-quality and international development of Wulingyuan's cultural tourism.
