In order to implement the "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage" issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, and to strengthen the dynamic management of the protection units of national-level representative intangible cultural heritage projects, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized the adjustment of the protection units of national-level representative intangible cultural heritage projects in accordance with the "Interim Measures for the Protection and Management of National-level Intangible Cultural Heritage" and other relevant regulations.

This adjustment involves the designation of protection units for 389 national-level representative intangible cultural heritage items, while three items are not designated as such due to the lack of suitable protection units at present.
