The "Great Love and Righteous Heart, Kind Deeds in Ningxia" public welfare campaign was launched in Yinchuan.
On September 3rd, the 11th "China Charity Day" themed publicity event, "Great Love and Righteous Heart, Kind Deeds in Ningxia," and a public welfare activity to help children with congenital heart disease in difficult circumstances, warmly kicked off at the "See Helan" immersive performing arts town in Yinchuan City. This event was guided by the Department of Civil Affairs of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, jointly organized by the Ningxia Charity Federation and the First Joint Committee of the Beijing Medical and Health Field Foundation, and co-organized by the Beijing Qu Zheng Charity Foundation and the Ningxia Taoli Public Welfare Foundation.
More than 20 film and television artists, including Cai Ming, Wu Gang, Sarina, Liu Jinshan, Xu Wenguang, Wu Jun, Yang Zhigang, and Li Naiwen, participated in the charity event, which was hosted by CCTV hosts Pan Yilin and Zhao Yuting. The event used art to support charity, conveyed the concept of public welfare to the public, and raised funds for children with congenital heart disease in difficult circumstances.
The day before the event, the artists participating in the charity event made a special trip to Minning Town, Yongning County, to promote their charity trip at the "Seeing Minning: Drama Village." The historic transformation from a "dry beach" to a "golden beach" deeply impressed the artists with the powerful force of East-West cooperation. It is reported that the "Seeing Minning" project, under the guidance of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Civil Affairs Department, launched the "One Yuan Ticket for Charity" campaign. For every ticket purchased, one yuan is donated to a charity fund, managed in a dedicated account and regularly disclosed, with all proceeds going to charitable causes in Ningxia.
Since the establishment of the Beijing-Ningxia charitable cooperation mechanism in 2025, it has successfully helped nearly 20 children from Ningxia suffering from congenital heart disease. On the day of the event, the "Great Love and Righteous Heart Benefit Ningxia Special Project," a public welfare project jointly launched by the Beijing Qu Zheng Charity Foundation and the Ningxia Taoli Charity Foundation with the support of Ningxia Taoli Health Development Group, was launched. This project is mainly used to help children with congenital heart disease from impoverished families in Ningxia and patients with severe heart disease who have fallen into poverty due to illness, as well as to promote the improvement of cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment in Ningxia.
As one of the event organizers, the Ningxia Taoli Charity Foundation has been deeply involved in public welfare in Ningxia for over a decade, with cumulative charitable expenditures exceeding 20 million yuan. The initiating organization, Taoli Health Development Group, integrates the concept of public welfare into its corporate development, actively fulfilling its social responsibility in areas such as cultural tourism, residential development, and culture.
At the foot of Helan Mountain, artists and caring enterprises gathered for a cause of public welfare, using art to spread warmth and action to protect lives. The successful event not only ignited hope for recovery for disadvantaged children with congenital heart disease but also powerfully marked "China Charity Day," highlighting the profound significance of Beijing-Ningxia charitable cooperation and East-West collaboration. Moving forward, all parties will continue to deepen cooperation, explore the establishment of a long-term assistance mechanism, and encourage more social forces to participate in Ningxia's charitable endeavors.
