High temperatures and muggy weather prevail in areas south of the Yangtze River, hot from morning till night.
In the Jiangnan and Jianghan regions, where rainfall is relatively low and weak, hot and humid weather is prevalent. Cities like Wuhan will experience 3 to 4 days of high temperatures this week. Due to the high humidity, even if the maximum temperature in many areas is below 35â, the perceived temperature will exceed 35â, even reaching around 40â. Furthermore, the minimum temperature at night will mostly be above 25â. The heat will persist from morning to night, so it is necessary to continue taking precautions against heatstroke.
High temperatures in northern China are mainly concentrated in Xinjiang and western Inner Mongolia, with few other areas experiencing high temperatures. In Northeast China, highs are mostly at or below 30°C, while lows are around 20°C, with cool mornings and evenings making for relatively comfortable conditions. (Source: China Weather Network)
