Shanghai New International Expo Centre is the first Sino-foreign joint venture exhibition centre in China. It has 17 single-floor pillar-free exhibition halls, with a total indoor exhibition area of 200,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 10,000 square meters. Each hall measures 70m × 185m, covering an area of 11,547 square meters, and all halls adopt a single-floor pillar-free structure. Since its official opening on November 2, 2001, Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) has achieved rapid growth, hosting more than 60 well-known exhibitions every year and attracting an increasing number of events to be held here. SNIEC provides an ideal venue for Chinese and foreign exhibitors to hold various types of exhibitions. The expo centre is also equipped with a full range of service items including business centre, post and telecommunications, bank, customs declaration, transportation, express delivery and advertising, to provide comprehensive high-quality services for guests. It has become one of the most successful exhibition centres in China.
