On October 16, 2026, the internationally award-winning French Quatuor Van Kuijk will perform at Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall, presenting the "Masterpieces" concert.
Quatuor Van Kuijk was once selected as BBC New Generation Artists. In 2015, only three years after its founding, it won the "Best Beethoven Award" and "Best Haydn Award" at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, as well as the First Prize and Audience Choice Award at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition. They have earned a huge number of fans during their two previous tours in China. This time, meeting Shanghai audiences with the themed "Masterpieces" concert, they will use their highly recognizable French sensitivity and agility to trace the 300-year development of string quartet music in one single performance.
For this Asian tour, Quatuor Van Kuijk specially invited violist Adrien Boisseau to join the lineup. The new part combination will bring a brand-new ensemble texture to these classic movements.
