According to the latest report from Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia received 520,000 Chinese tourists in the first seven months of this year, a decrease of 24.4% year-on-year. Despite the decrease, China remains Cambodia's largest source of tourists.

In terms of travel purpose, 236,900 Chinese tourists visited Cambodia for tourism, approximately 280,000 for business purposes, and 2,345 for other purposes.

Overall, Cambodia received 1.9978 million international tourists from January to July this year. Among them, Vietnamese tourists numbered 514,900, a year-on-year decrease of 27.9%, ranking second; American tourists numbered 119,000, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%, ranking third.

The number of Thai tourists saw the most significant drop due to the ongoing situation on the Cambodia-Thailand border, plummeting from 946,300 in the same period last year to 40,800, a year-on-year decrease of 95.7%.
