Data released by the Hong Kong Tourism Board on the 17th showed that the number of visitors to Hong Kong in July reached 4.5 million, an increase of 3% year-on-year. The cumulative number of visitors to Hong Kong in the first seven months of this year was approximately 31.22 million, an increase of 11% year-on-year.

In July this year, several major international exhibitions and events were held in Hong Kong, providing support for growth in some source markets. Non-Mainland tourist arrivals reached approximately 897,000 in July, a 2% increase year-on-year.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that it will launch a series of major events in the second half of the year, covering various sectors including sports and food, such as the "Hong Kong Cycling Festival" and the "Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival," to attract tourists to Hong Kong with rich experiences. In addition, the HKTB will collaborate with the industry to launch diverse promotional activities to encourage tourists to explore Hong Kong in depth, extend their stay, and further stimulate tourism-related consumption.
