The 62-day summer travel season for civil aviation ended on August 31.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, from July 1 to August 31, the national civil aviation system transported a total of 151 million passengers, averaging 2.442 million passengers per day, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%; and handled a total of 1.211 million flights, averaging 19,500 flights per day, a year-on-year increase of 1%.
