명소 소개

The Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is located at 106 Wangzhi Road (now 76 Xingye Road) in former Shanghai French Concession, a typical Shikumen-style building completed in autumn 1920. On July 23, 1921, the First National Congress of CPC was held here, adopting the Party's first program and resolution, electing the central leading body and announcing the founding of CPC. The site was renovated and opened to public as a memorial hall in September 1952, and was listed as a Major National Historical and Cultural Site in March 1961. On Oct 31, 2017, the new CPC central leadership reviewed the Party founding history and retook the admission oath here to show firm political conviction.
