Performance Introduction The musical "Baoyu" deconstructs and reinterprets the story from the perspective of Baoyu in *A Dream of Red Mansions*. "Baoyu" not only refers to Jia Baoyu or the Divine Spiritual Jade, but also a symbol of identity and destiny. In the play, Baoyu is the noble son of the Jia family as well as the stubborn stone from the celestial world, whose fate seems to be predetermined. However, in the process of seeking self-answers, this teenager questions the preset destiny, experiences love, hatred, joy and sorrow, and finally grows into a complete "Baoyu". In the play, a stubborn stone is wandering in the mortal world. It is Baoyu, the son of the Jia family, as well as the Divine Spiritual Jade from heaven. The fate of "Baoyu" seems to have long been predetermined just like the opera lines. However, the character in the play is still obsessed, indulged, loves and hates with all his strength, walking along the pre-destined path. Reality and illusion interweave and alternate, gradually becoming indistinguishable. The character in the play immerses himself in it, searching for the courage to wake up, while the audience watching the play will eventually have a thorough epiphany when the performance ends and the crowd disperses...
