Jin Mao Tower is located in the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, with a height of over 420 meters. It is the third tallest skyscraper in Shanghai, only shorter than the adjacent Shanghai Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. The 88th-floor observation hall of the tower is one of the famous high-altitude viewing platforms in Shanghai, where the night view is particularly charming. Taking the elevator that runs at 9 meters per second from the ground floor lobby, you only need 45 seconds to reach the 88th floor at a height of 340 meters. The glass curtain wall in the observation hall offers a wide view, allowing you to overlook the city scenery in all directions. It is recommended to go for sightseeing near dusk in the afternoon. On a fine day, you can catch the charming sunset, while Lujiazui and the Bund under the night are extremely beautiful against the lighting. Besides, coin-operated telescopes are available for use in the observation hall. Floors 53 to 87 of the tower are occupied by Grand Hyatt Shanghai. The most special part is the hotel atrium, where dozens of circular corridors look brilliant and charming under the neon lights. Looking down at the atrium from the 88th-floor observation hall, it is just like a time-space tunnel. Outside the 88th floor of Jin Mao Tower, there is a glass skywalk over 340 meters above the ground with a total length of about 60 meters, which is a relatively high unprotected outdoor skywalk on a high-rise building. Walking here is like stepping on clouds, where you can enjoy a 360-degree unobstructed panoramic view of Shanghai.
