Based on the novel *The Grand Dyeing House*, this dance drama takes the modern national industry of "dyeing house" as the entry point, sets the background against the 1937 War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and focuses on the ups and downs of the life of Chen Shouting, a tycoon in the printing and dyeing industry. The dance drama takes various dyed cloth samples as the lead, strings together Chen Shouting's legendary path from a street beggar to a leading industrial magnate, integrating the warmth of family and friends, the edge of commercial warfare, and the loyalty to the country into the rich and varied colors. With the tenacious, optimistic and diligent "dyeing house temperament" and "Qilu spirit", it reflects the unyielding struggle history of the Chinese nation in hardships and difficulties. [Characters] Chen Shouting: Chief manager of the dyeing factory. He begged for food in childhood, was illiterate, adopted by his foster parents, and grew into a renowned printing and dyeing tycoon across the country through legendary experiences.
