September 27th is World Tourism Day. According to the official website of the United Nations Tourism Organization, the theme of World Tourism Day 2026 will be "Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence Reshaping Tourism," with the main event to be held in El Salvador.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres stated that this year's World Tourism Day not only celebrates the role of tourism in cultural exchange and enriching lives, but also raises questions about the future we envision for the tourism industry. Technology must be people-centered; artificial intelligence is changing how tourists travel, how the tourism industry operates, and how tourism experiences are designed. This requires us to increase investment in digital technologies to ensure that innovative achievements benefit more tourists and promote the development of the tourism industry. Let us work together to build an open, inclusive, and people-centered digital future for tourism, enabling the wider application of artificial intelligence technology and promoting the sustainable development of the industry.
