On August 25, all passenger trains to and from Hainan Island were suspended for the entire day; from August 26 to 27, train K458 from Sanya Station to Xinxiang Station and train K457 from Xinxiang Station to Sanya Station were suspended.

The railway department reminds passengers that those who have purchased tickets for the aforementioned cancelled trains can apply for a refund within 30 days from the date of travel printed on the ticket, through the 12306 app or at the station's manual ticket window, free of charge. Passengers are advised to pay close attention to the official 12306 platform and station announcements to stay updated on the latest train information and plan their travel accordingly.
