On September 3, the 2026 Industrial Culture and Tourism Development Exchange and Promotion Event, hosted by China Tourism News, was held in Tianjin during the 2026 China Cultural Tourism Industry Expo.

This event, themed "New Scenarios, New Business Models, New Experiences—The Integration of Culture and Tourism to Promote High-Quality Development of Industrial Tourism," aims to implement the requirements of the "Notice on Promoting Industrial Culture, Protecting Industrial Heritage, and Developing Industrial Tourism" jointly issued by the general offices of seven departments including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It seeks to strengthen the connection and market promotion of industrial culture and tourism resources, vigorously promote industrial culture, deepen the market transformation and brand building of industrial tourism, and promote the deep integration and development of culture, tourism, and industry.

At the event, the organizers released 50 outstanding cases of industrial tourism development. These cases cover areas such as industrial heritage revitalization, factory tours, industrial study tours, and technology experiences. They meet consumer demand with diverse, rich, and distinctive industrial culture and tourism offerings, showcasing the latest achievements in the integrated development of culture, tourism, and industry.

At the event, participating guests shared their successful experiences and offered suggestions from different perspectives and within their respective fields, focusing on topics such as policy and industry direction, business model innovation and future vision, consumption scenarios and market operations, and spatial expansion and practical paths, in order to promote the continuous innovative development of industrial culture and industrial tourism.
