According to a message from the official WeChat account "Bayinxuji", the Delingha Municipal Water Resources Bureau, Delingha Municipal Forestry and Grassland Bureau, Delingha Municipal Public Security Bureau, Delingha Municipal Culture, Sports, Tourism and Radio and Television Bureau, and the Delingha Xuji Township People's Government issued an announcement on the evening of September 6, stating that on September 5, 2026, a video posted online showed tourists driving into the waters of Hala Lake to take photos. After the video spread online, it attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society.

Following the incident, the Delingha Municipal Water Resources Bureau, the Municipal Forestry and Grassland Bureau, the Municipal Culture, Sports, Tourism and Radio and Television Bureau, and the Xuji Township People's Government quickly launched a joint response, interviewing and criticizing the parties involved. The individuals involved fully recognized the harm their actions caused to the plateau lake's ecosystem, issued an apology statement, made a profound self-criticism, and promised to consciously practice ecological protection requirements in the future.

Next, relevant departments will continue to strengthen patrols and management in the Hala Lake area, increase publicity on ecological protection, and guide all sectors of society to jointly protect the ecological environment of Hala Lake.

Hala Lake is located in a high-altitude ecologically sensitive area with a fragile environment. Unauthorized entry into this sensitive area by individuals or vehicles will cause varying degrees of disturbance and damage to the lake's ecosystem. Furthermore, the Hala Lake area is at a high altitude, lacks communication signals, and has extremely limited emergency rescue conditions, posing serious personal safety risks to unauthorized entrants. We urge all tourists and outdoor enthusiasts to consciously abide by laws and regulations and adhere to civilized tourism and green travel practices.
