On August 18th, the new Hengqin Port celebrated its sixth anniversary. According to statistics from the Hengqin Border Inspection Station of the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, from its opening on August 18, 2020 to August 17, 2026, the Hengqin Border Inspection Station has processed over 110 million inbound and outbound passengers and over 13 million vehicles, with an average annual growth rate of 37.5% and 35.1% for both personnel and vehicles. Hengqin Port has become one of the busiest cross-border channels in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

These past six years have been a crucial period for the concentrated implementation and continuous release of benefits from the convenient policies of Hengqin Port. Facilitating measures such as the "Frequent Traveler" channel, the "Hengqin-Macau Tour Group" program, and "Multiple-Entry Permit" have continuously reduced the cost of cross-border travel and facilitated the development of "multi-stop" cross-border tourism.

To date, the port has processed over 374,000 departures holding "Qingdao-Macau Tourism" visas and over 985,000 departures holding "Multiple-Entry Visas," effectively activating the integration of culture and tourism between Qingdao and Macau. (Source: CCTV News)
