Spot Introduction

Dishui Lake is a man-made circular lake located at the center of Lingang New City, Pudong New Area. Its water comes from the Huangpu River and leads directly to the East China Sea through sluice gates. There are three islands with different functional positioning distributed around Dishui Lake: North Island, West Island and South Island. The North Island will be constructed as an "Entertainment Island", the West Island is positioned as a business and tourist accommodation area, and the South Island is a water recreation and entertainment island with facilities including yacht clubs and yacht harbors. Visitors can rent bicycles at the scenic spot entrance or take a speedboat to tour around the lake. There is an O-shaped building at the center of Dishui Lake, which is the origin of the lake's name: it looks just like a drop of water. It is said that this building can rotate by itself, showing different looks at different times, which is very interesting.
