Tianjin launches cruise ships offering destinationless sea tours, setting a new single-day passenger record.
On August 29, nearly 2,700 tourists embarked on a cruise journey with no destination at sea aboard the "Ideal" cruise ship departing from Tianjin International Cruise Home Port. This voyage set a new record for the highest single-day passenger volume at Tianjin International Cruise Home Port this year.
It is understood that this cruise trip with no destination is a pilot project for cruise innovation in Tianjin. The first batch includes two pilot voyages, adopting a "departure from Tianjin, return to the same port" model. Passengers do not need to apply for an exit visa, and the entire trip lasts 3 days and 2 nights. After departing, the cruise ship will cruise in designated waters without calling at any foreign ports, creating a lightweight and convenient new scenario for short-distance sea vacations and injecting new vitality into the maritime leisure and cultural tourism market in northern my country.
