Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi

Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi is located in the West Hongqiao Business District, Xujing Town, Qingpu District. It is a comprehensive block that integrates water town heritage, art, humanities and leisure entertainment. As an ancient-town type urban renewal project in Shanghai, Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi was selected into the list of tourist and leisure blocks for its unique charm. Its history dates back to the Sui and Tang Dynasties. After development in the Song and Yuan Dynasties and prosperity in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it formed a unique spatial texture of "cross-shaped water street". In the process of protective development, the design team restored the architectural style of Jiangnan water towns in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and retained the original look of the ancient water town. Nowadays, Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi has become a popular internet-famous check-in spot that attracts numerous tourists. Its internal water system covers four rivers including Panlong City River and Panlong Pond, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometers. The block is equipped with featured attractions such as Misty Rain Covered Bridge, Paper-cut Light and Shadow Theater, and original IP market Panlong Water Market. In addition, Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi also provides leisure facilities including pet amusement park, equestrian field, outdoor camp and wupendous boat, which is very suitable for family outings. No matter you are a history and culture enthusiast or a leisure tourist, Shanghai Panlong Xintiandi provides rich experience options.
