نبذة عن المعلم

Shanghai Expo Culture Park is located in the core area of Pudong Riverside, adjacent to the Huangpu River in the northwest, stretching east to Lupu Bridge - North Changqing Road, south to Tongyao Road - Longbin Road, with a land area of about 2 square kilometers. Positioned as a world-class top downtown park featuring sustainable ecology and nature, integrated cultural innovation, and public gathering and sharing, the park, combined with the completed Houtan Wetland Park, renovates 4 retained venues from the World Expo, and newly builds facilities including Expo Garden, Shen Garden, Twin Peaks, Shanghai Greenhouse, World Floral Garden, Grand Opera House and International Equestrian Center, to create the unique riverside park green space in Shanghai's central area in the future. Taking historical water systems, industrial memories and World Expo texture as representative elements, the park superimposes forests, wetlands and lawns to form a multi-layered landscape structure system of "water, landform, humanity and nature". The landscaped extension of the World Expo texture realizes the continuation of the World Expo spirit, presenting the transformation from the World Expo park to the urban central ecological experience zone. By stacking hills and arranging waters to pursue natural effects and integrating Jiangnan cultural elements, Shen Garden that shows the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens interprets the integration and coexistence of forests and gardens in the form of a garden within a garden. The colorful forest composed of retained arbors and newly planted arbors draws a continuous picture stretching from urban forest to natural forest. The northern area of the park open to the public this time covers 85 hectares, which is mainly composed of landscape zones and attractions including Dancing Square, Serene Forest, Time Mark Avenue, Expo Garden, Music Grove, Central Lake, Houtan Riverside and Shen Garden.
